We are a non-profit, private boarding and day school for students with learning differences. Located in the rolling hills of Tennessee, we serve students in grades 6-12 who have been diagnosed with challenges such as ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, executive functioning deficits, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and nonverbal learning disorders.

We focus on more than just academic success; we build the self-confidence and social pragmatics skills that every student needs. Our small school environment fosters friendships and a sense of extended family. Larger schools may need designated advisors, but at Bachman Academy, all our staff knows every student well.
BACHMAN ACADEMY IS A PLACE TO COMPREHEND CHALLENGING MATERIAL.
Our dedicated teachers and learning interventionists work with students individually to help them overcome learning gaps. For 2017-2018, we are launching a cognitive training program to improve working memory. Our unique independent learning scale will measure how well students are solving problems on their own, without direct assistance.
BACHMAN ACADEMY IS A PLACE TO CHART THE COURSE FOR FUTURE SUCCESS.
At Bachman Academy, we teach executive functioning and life skills, the cornerstones for gaining independence. Most of our graduates go on to enroll in college and technical training classes; others find vocational job placements. We now offer Bachman Transitions, an 18-month program for high school graduates who need some extra guidance in gaining the life and career skills they need for independent living.
