May 23, 2012-Cleveland Daily Banner - Bachman Academy has earned re-accreditation through the Southern Association of Independent Schools and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. To earn accreditation from SAIS and SACS, the academy complied with quality standards, was evaluated by an outside group of peer professionals, and implemented a school plan focused on strategic improvement and student performance. The SAIS-SACS accreditation report stated the “[SAIS] visiting committees found the Bachman Academy community to be warm, welcoming, and gracious. There is a deep sense of compassion for one another and a passion for the students and school everywhere we looked.” Accreditation is voluntary and must be renewed each year. In addition, the self-study process and peer review visit must be repeated every five years for continued accreditation. Bachman Academy achieved initial accreditation in 2006. The academy’s next peer review will be in 2016-17. Read more: Cleveland Daily Banner - Bachman Academy receives SAIS and SACS re accreditation |
