Life At Bachman

Every day at Bachman Academy is different. Students wake up at 6:00 in the morning, take showers, get dressed, and get ready for breakfast. At each breakfast we have a variety of meals, such as eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, French toast, bagels, yogurt, milk, etc.

After breakfast, the students get ready for school, clean their rooms, and attend morning chapel.

At 8:30am when chapel ends, school starts, and students walk to their classes. The classes are organized into periods 1-7. Each class period is different, unlike public schools.

After the academic day, which ends with afternoon chapel, students head back to their dormitories and chill, relax, play games, and participate in school activities, etc. At 5:45pm and 6:15pm, students have dinner.

After dinner, students are required to spend some time cleaning their rooms. Afterwards, study time or homework time begins from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.

There are dorm rules students have to follow in order to make everyone's living a success: everybody must be in their rooms at certain hours, disturbing noise is not allowed, everyone has to work on their homework, doors must be opened, no playing loud music, dorms must remain clean and in order, and if you need help, ask someone.

At Bachman students have the privilege of exercising their free will; they enjoy the ability to volunteer for special activities, and are given opportunities to exceed normal expectations.

For new students, life at Bachman is challenging, but at the end, it is worth all the work.
