Joan attended Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, majoring in sociology and psychology. She says, “I have a very strong desire to help young people with special needs to learn to be independent.”
Joan is married to Bobby, and they have three sons, Jonathan, Michael and Adam, and two stepchildren, Jason and Tracy. To pass the time, Joan likes to sing, read, work crossword puzzles, garden, boat and sell things on eBay.
