Karen Corliss, one of our valued dorm counselors, had a long career in retail management in
Vermont. After twenty years in retail, she moved to Tennessee about seven years ago to join Bachman
Academy.

Her personal experience as a mom was quickly put to work with the teenage students on campus.

Karen’s hobbies include quilting, cooking and gardening. Her sewing talents come in handy for repairing students’ clothing. Her cooking skills are helpful when an extra pair of hands is needed in the main kitchen. And she puts her green thumb to good use helping with gardening and landscaping chores around the campus.
