Dawn Ward came to this area from Wisconsin where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education as well as a Master of Science in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Dawn has 20 years of teaching experience, and, as the Academic Director at Bachman, handles all aspects of our academic program, including hiring and training teachers, developing curriculum and implementing programs. Dawn also oversees the accreditation requirements for the school.

Dawn is a go-getter; nothing seems to be too much for her. She can usually be found rushing around campus getting things
done!
Besides her husband, Richard, Dawn’s family includes a 16 year old son, four dogs and three cats. Dawn and her husband are currently therapeutic foster parents to three boys.
Dawn says she loves to read more than anything. Quilting is another of Dawn’s passions and she always has several quilts in progress.
