Tammy Henkel is a graduate of Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, where she majored in history. History is one of Tammy’s passions, particularly British history, women’s history, and social history. She also enjoys historical embroidery
re-creation.
|
Tammy loves to travel and has had the opportunity to visit several countries: England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Ecuador, and the Galapagos
Islands.

In her travels and at home, she has been able to pursue other interests: architecture, interior design, music (she plays flute and piano), and
reading.
When she is not sharing her love of history with her students, Tammy spends time with her husband Kurt; six-year-old daughter
Caitrin; her “goofy” Labrador retriever, Gracie; and a “very snobby” cat named
Bella.
