Amanda Carroll, Science Instructor

Amanda Carroll, Bachman Academy Science Instructor.

A long journey led Amanda Carroll to Bachman Academy. She has attended well over twenty schools during her life, which has given her the ability to experience many different teaching techniques.

She is a proponent of lifetime learning and student-driven learning. Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, and Physical Science are the subjects she is teaching at Bachman this year.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in 2006 at Tennessee Wesleyan College.

In her spare time, Amanda volunteers with the Knoxville chapter for Multiple Sclerosis. She also enjoys canvas painting, yoga, and reading.

Quote: “There is so much to learn about the nature and wilderness of this fascinating world in which we live.
